ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
GENERAL INFORMATION & GUIDELINES
• Abstracts must be submitted by email (to siorasgs@otenet.gr) by 30 March 2010
ABSTRACT ACCEPTANCE
• All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English
• Use a concise title, typed in capital letters
• List institution, city and country of author(s)
• Underline the name of the presenting author
• All authors’ first names and surnames must be written in full. Please write your first name first.
• Structure your abstract using the following headings
Objectives – Methods – Results – Conclusion
• Indicate “oral” or “poster”, depending on whether you would prefer an oral or poster presentation. (However, please be aware that the final decision rests with the Scientific Committee).
• Abstracts should be single-space typed, not longer than 300 words (the title is not included) and supplied in Word format using Times New Roman font 11 point. Any other type of file – e.g. PDF is not acceptable. Please observe Standard English grammar rules including a space after full stops and commas.
• Maximum space available for your abstract (including names and titles) is 13,5 cm wide x 16,5 cm high.
Please note that the abstracts will not be available on line and will only be available to those registered for the Congress in the form of an official Abstracts Book provided on the day of arrival.
ABSTRACT DEADLINE: 30 March 2010
• All abstracts are subject to acceptance by the Scientific Committee who will determine the presentation format (Oral or Poster).
• All accepted abstracts will be published in the abstracts book. Acceptance notifications will be e-mailed no later than 30 April 2010
• Authors of abstracts are entitled to Early Registration Fees or withdrawal of their abstract(s) until 10 May, 2010. If bye this date the registration fee has not been received, the abstract will neither be published in the abstracts book, nor will it be possible to present it at the meeting.
